Eight-Minute Empire tournament sets sail in January

  • iOS, Android, PC/Mac/Linux, Switch

We love Acram Digital here at Stately Play manor and not only because our forums were the cornerstone of their massive Istanbul tournament from last December. Okay, that’s part of it, but bottom line is they make some damn fine board game ports and even manage to pull off online multiplayer better than some of the bigger fish in the digital board game pond (cough**Asmodee**cough).

They’re on the cusp of running another massive tournament–this time for Eight-Minute Empire–and it would be a shame if the Stately Players [you leave for 2 months and then pull this? You son of a bitch. -ed.] weren’t a big part of it. Jump past the break for details and signup info.

Signups for the tournament run through January 5 so you have a little bit of time to ponder if you want to claw your way to the top of the 8-Minute Empire hill.

You can find all the rules and regulations for the tournament at the Acram blog but what they aren’t telling you is what you can win. According to Acram, the prizes on the table are ” codes for our digital board games, including Charterstone, and Roam, Megaland, Eight-Minute Empire: Legends and Lost Lands and stock Eight-Minute Empire”. Now, this raises more questions than it answers. Is Acram working on digital versions of Eight-Minute Empire: Legends and Lost Lands? Is there an upcoming digital version of Roam in the works? Or are they sending out physical copies of these games? It sounds like the former, but I’m checking and will let you know when I find out.

Anyway, head over the Acram blog for the rules and then signup for the tournament at the link below. Good Luck. We’re all counting on you.
